This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Website Terms of Use and any separate terms that may apply to ArtsDAO platform access, memberships, payments, Clubhouse access, House Rules, events, experiences, renewals, and other paid or member-only services.
By accessing or using the Website or otherwise interacting with ArtsDAO, you acknowledge that you have read and understood how ArtsDAO processes Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.
In this Privacy Policy:
“ArtsDAO”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means the applicable ArtsDAO Entity responsible for processing your Personal Data.
“ArtsDAO Entity” means MAISON ARTSDAO RESTAURANT L.L.C, Trade Licence No. 1541230, and/or any associated company, affiliate, successor, assignee, licensee, operator, or other entity designated by ArtsDAO as responsible for operating the Website, Digital Services, Clubhouse-related services, applications, event pages, partner benefit pages, or any part of the ArtsDAO ecosystem from time to time.
“Clubhouse” means any physical ArtsDAO premises, private members’ club, restaurant, coworking space, lounge, event space, or other physical location operated, licensed, managed, or made available under or in connection with the ArtsDAO brand.
“Digital Services” means any digital community features, member portals, ArtsDAO Circle features, directories, chat groups, online dashboards, application forms, newsletters, event registration tools, or other online services made available by or through ArtsDAO.
“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
“Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, transfer, deletion, or modification.
“Website” means www.artsdao.io and any related webpages, subdomains, landing pages, forms, digital interfaces, or online services operated or made available by ArtsDAO.
“You” or “your” means the individual whose Personal Data is processed.
The Website and related services are operated by the applicable ArtsDAO Entity responsible for the relevant Website feature, service, application flow, digital interface, event page, payment page, Clubhouse-related information, or partner benefit page at the time of use.
The ArtsDAO Entity may be MAISON ARTSDAO RESTAURANT L.L.C, Trade Licence No. 1541230, its affiliates, associated companies, subsidiaries, successors, assigns, designated operators, or authorised third-party licensees.
The applicable ArtsDAO Entity may act as the controller of your Personal Data, or may process Personal Data jointly with or on behalf of another ArtsDAO Entity, depending on the relevant service, interaction, location, event, platform, or membership relationship.
You acknowledge that the ArtsDAO ecosystem may comprise multiple independent legal entities, business lines, locations, event organisers, operators, partners, licensors, service providers, and affiliates.
Your relationship in respect of a specific Website feature, service, application flow, Digital Service, Clubhouse-related service, event, or payment interaction may be with the specific ArtsDAO Entity operating or responsible for that feature or service at the relevant time.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates a contractual relationship between you and any ArtsDAO entity, affiliate, partner, founder, employee, director, investor, member, contractor, or service provider unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
ArtsDAO may outsource, license, assign, delegate, or appoint third parties to operate, host, manage, support, maintain, process, or provide all or part of the Website, Digital Services, applications, payment pages, event pages, Clubhouse information, partner benefit pages, member portals, community tools, analytics, communications, or related services.
Where third parties process Personal Data on behalf of ArtsDAO, ArtsDAO will take reasonable steps to ensure that they process Personal Data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and appropriate contractual obligations.
Where third parties process Personal Data for their own purposes, their own privacy policies and terms may apply.
This Privacy Policy explains how ArtsDAO processes Personal Data. It does not grant membership rights, platform access rights, Clubhouse access rights, event access rights, payment rights, renewal rights, refund rights, or any other paid service rights.
ArtsDAO platform access, ArtsDAO Circle access, paid memberships, Clubhouse access, House Rules, member benefits, renewals, cancellations, refunds, event access, guest access, conduct rules, payment terms, and other paid or member-only services may be governed by separate terms and conditions presented to you at the relevant point of application, checkout, payment, onboarding, renewal, or access.
Those separate terms may contain additional privacy-related information or consents specific to the relevant service, payment flow, event, platform feature, or membership product.
ArtsDAO may collect and process the following categories of Personal Data:
This may include your name, email address, phone number, nationality, city or country of residence, date of birth or age confirmation, identification information where required, social media handles, company name, role, professional background, and other information you submit through forms, applications, onboarding flows, or communications with ArtsDAO.
This may include membership application responses, waitlist information, referral information, interests, preferences, community fit information, membership status, approval or renewal status, onboarding information, guest information, and information required to administer your relationship with ArtsDAO.
Where you use or apply to use Digital Services, ArtsDAO Circle, member portals, or community features, we may process profile information, biographies, profile photos, areas of interest, company or project information, job titles, social handles, public wallet addresses where provided, member directory information, introductions, community interactions, messages, posts, comments, feedback, or submissions.
Where you register for or attend events, experiences, trips, Clubhouse activities, or physical premises, we may process event registrations, attendance records, guest details, dietary preferences, accessibility requirements, emergency contact information where relevant, travel or accommodation logistics, venue access records, check-in information, booking information, and incident reports.
Where you make or attempt to make a payment, we may process billing information, invoice information, payment status, payment method type, transaction references, refunds or chargeback information, payment processor identifiers, subscription or renewal status, admission fee or membership fee information, and other payment-related metadata.
ArtsDAO does not usually store full payment card details. Payment card information is generally processed by third-party payment processors.
Where crypto-asset payments, wallet-based interactions, smart contract payments, token-gated access, or blockchain-related features are supported, ArtsDAO may process public wallet addresses, transaction hashes, blockchain network information, token or asset type, transaction status, wallet connection information, and related on-chain or off-chain transaction metadata.
Public blockchain information may be publicly visible, permanent, and outside ArtsDAO’s control. ArtsDAO cannot delete, alter, or reverse information recorded on public blockchains.
When you use the Website or Digital Services, we may collect IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, clicks and interactions, referring URLs, session information, cookies, login activity, and security or diagnostic information.
This may include newsletter subscriptions, email communications, support requests, survey responses, preferences, marketing consent records, unsubscribe records, event communications, and other correspondence with ArtsDAO.
Where you visit a Clubhouse, event venue, office, or physical location, ArtsDAO or its venue partners may process CCTV footage, access logs, check-in information, security incident reports, guest access information, and information required for safety, security, insurance, compliance, or operational purposes.
ArtsDAO may collect Personal Data directly from you when you access the Website, submit a membership application, join a waitlist, subscribe to communications, create an account or profile, use Digital Services, register for an event, visit a Clubhouse, make or attempt to make a payment, connect a wallet, communicate with ArtsDAO, request an introduction or partner benefit, or otherwise provide information to ArtsDAO.
ArtsDAO may also collect Personal Data from referral sources, existing members, event partners, payment processors, platform providers, analytics providers, public sources, social media platforms, professional networks, identity verification providers, compliance screening providers, and other third-party service providers.
ArtsDAO may process Personal Data to:
a. operate and maintain the Website and Digital Services;
b. process applications, waitlists, and enquiries;
c. assess membership eligibility and community fit;
d. administer memberships and member relationships;
e. provide access to ArtsDAO Circle, member portals, and community tools;
f. administer Clubhouse access, events, experiences, trips, and guest access;
g. process payments, invoices, renewals, refunds, and transaction records;
h. facilitate crypto payments or wallet-based interactions, where supported;
i. communicate with you about applications, services, events, memberships, payments, and updates;
j. send newsletters, marketing communications, and community updates;

l. maintain safety, security, and community standards;
m. enforce Website Terms, Membership Terms, Platform Terms, House Rules, and other applicable terms;

d. payment processors, banks, crypto payment providers, wallet infrastructure providers, and transaction service providers;
e. event partners, venues, travel providers, accommodation providers, transport providers, production providers, ticketing providers, and experience operators;
f. third-party partners, benefit providers, concierge providers, professional advisers, relocation providers, banking or payment partners, real estate partners, and lifestyle service providers where you request an introduction, register for a benefit, or engage with a partner service;
g. identity verification, compliance, fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and risk management providers;

Where you interact with a third-party platform or service, that third party may process your Personal Data under its own privacy policy and terms.
ArtsDAO is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, policies, or processing activities of independent third parties.
ArtsDAO may process and transfer Personal Data in or to jurisdictions outside your country of residence, including the United Arab Emirates and other countries where ArtsDAO Entities, service providers, partners, or infrastructure providers are located.
Where required by applicable data protection law, ArtsDAO will take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers of Personal Data.
ArtsDAO will retain Personal Data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to operate the Website and Digital Services, process applications and memberships, administer events and payments, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and protect ArtsDAO’s rights and community.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of Personal Data, the purpose of processing, legal requirements, limitation periods, and operational needs.
Where Personal Data is no longer required, ArtsDAO will delete, anonymise, or securely archive it in accordance with applicable law and internal retention practices.
Information recorded on public blockchains may not be capable of deletion by ArtsDAO.
ArtsDAO takes reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no website, digital platform, payment system, blockchain network, email system, or storage system is completely secure.

Where Personal Data has been recorded on a public blockchain, ArtsDAO may not be able to delete, alter, or reverse that information.

ArtsDAO may send you marketing communications, newsletters, event updates, community updates, market updates, partner offers, membership information, and related communications where permitted by law.
You may unsubscribe or manage your communication preferences through the mechanism provided in the relevant communication.
Even if you unsubscribe from marketing communications, ArtsDAO may still send you transactional, administrative, legal, security, payment, membership, application, or service-related communications where permitted by law.
The Website may use cookies, pixels, tags, analytics tools, tracking technologies, and similar technologies to operate and secure the Website, remember preferences, analyse usage, improve performance, measure marketing effectiveness, prevent fraud, and support Website functionality.

ArtsDAO does not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under the age of 18.
If ArtsDAO becomes aware that it has collected Personal Data from an individual under the age of 18 without appropriate legal basis, ArtsDAO may delete or restrict such Personal Data and suspend or terminate the relevant access, account, application, registration, or interaction.
If you believe that an individual under the age of 18 has provided Personal Data to ArtsDAO, please contact us using the details set out in Section 20.
Certain events, venues, Clubhouse areas, services, or experiences may be subject to higher age limits, identity checks, venue rules, licensing requirements, or local legal restrictions.
If ArtsDAO becomes aware of a Personal Data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights or freedoms, ArtsDAO will take steps to investigate, mitigate, and notify affected individuals or authorities where required by applicable law.
ArtsDAO may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
The updated version will be effective when posted on the Website, unless a later effective date is stated.

This Privacy Policy, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre.
Any dispute, controversy, difference, or claim arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy, including any question regarding its existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, termination, or any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with it, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration.
The arbitration shall be administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre under the DIAC Arbitration Rules in force at the time of commencement of the arbitration.
The seat of arbitration shall be the Dubai International Financial Centre.
The language of the arbitration shall be English.
The tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator, unless ArtsDAO determines that the nature, value, or complexity of the dispute requires three arbitrators.
The arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each party irrevocably waives any right of appeal, challenge, review, set-aside, annulment, or other recourse to any court or judicial authority in respect of the arbitral award.
Nothing in this clause shall prevent a party from applying to the DIFC Courts for the recognition, enforcement, or execution of an arbitral award, or for interim, conservatory, or urgent relief in support of arbitration where such relief cannot validly be excluded under applicable law.
Except for applications relating to interim relief, conservatory relief, recognition, enforcement, execution of an arbitral award, or any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded, the parties agree that disputes shall be resolved exclusively by arbitration and not by court proceedings.
