Access to ArtsDAO premises, events, experiences, digital services, and Community Spaces is subject to membership status, eligibility, capacity, identity checks, reservations, payment confirmation, these House Rules, and any applicable Membership Terms.

2.2 No Automatic Right of Entry

Membership does not create an unconditional right of entry or access. ArtsDAO may refuse, restrict, suspend, or revoke access where reasonably necessary for safety, privacy, conduct, capacity, licensing, operational, community, or legal reasons.

2.3 Separate Terms

Membership payments, renewals, refunds, cancellations, platform access, and paid benefits are governed by the applicable Membership Terms, Platform Terms, payment terms, or other written terms accepted by the Member.

These House Rules govern conduct and access standards. They do not replace the applicable membership or payment terms.

3. Guests

3.1 Guest Access

Members may be permitted to invite guests where allowed by ArtsDAO. Guest access may be subject to limits, reservations, approval, identification, age requirements, capacity, fees, or other conditions.

3.2 Member Responsibility

Members are responsible for their guests and must ensure that guests comply with these House Rules.

ArtsDAO may refuse entry to, remove, or restrict any guest at its discretion where reasonably necessary to protect safety, privacy, operations, or the community experience.

4. Age Requirement

ArtsDAO premises, events, experiences, memberships, and Community Spaces are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years old, unless ArtsDAO expressly states otherwise.

Certain events, venues, services, or areas may be subject to higher age limits, identity checks, venue rules, licensing requirements, or local legal restrictions.

ArtsDAO may require valid identification as a condition of access.

5. Conduct and Community Standards

5.1 Respectful Conduct

Members and guests must behave respectfully toward other Members, guests, staff, partners, speakers, performers, suppliers, and visitors.

ArtsDAO does not tolerate conduct that it reasonably considers abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, intimidating, aggressive, violent, disruptive, or harmful to the community experience.

5.2 Discrimination and Harassment

Members and guests must not engage in discrimination, harassment, hate speech, discriminatory slurs, intimidation, bullying, incitement, dehumanising language, glorification of violence, or hostile conduct directed at any individual or group.

This includes conduct based on or directed at religion, nationality, ethnicity, race, gender, political views, personal beliefs, background, identity, or perceived affiliation.

5.3 Sensitive Topics

ArtsDAO recognises that Members may hold different political, religious, social, cultural, and geopolitical views.

However, Members and guests must not use ArtsDAO premises or Community Spaces to escalate sensitive topics into personal attacks, hostile debates, discriminatory statements, inflammatory accusations, harassment, intimidation, or conduct that disrupts the community experience.

ArtsDAO may restrict, pause, moderate, remove, or prohibit discussions that it reasonably considers likely to create hostility, division, safety concerns, reputational harm, legal exposure, or disruption within the community.

5.4 Intoxication

Being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, medication, or any other substance does not excuse a breach of these House Rules.

Members and guests remain fully responsible for their conduct, messages, statements, posts, and actions whether online, at events, or on ArtsDAO premises.

6. Digital and Community Conduct

6.1 Application to Community Spaces

These House Rules apply not only within ArtsDAO physical premises, but also to ArtsDAO-related digital, online, social, and community spaces.

6.3 No Obligation to Host All Speech

ArtsDAO-related spaces are private community spaces. ArtsDAO is not required to host, publish, preserve, distribute, or allow any content, discussion, message, post, or conduct that it reasonably considers inconsistent with the safety, privacy, discretion, reputation, values, or quality of the ArtsDAO community.

6.4 Moderation

ArtsDAO may moderate, hide, delete, restrict, mute, remove, suspend, archive, close, or take other action in relation to any Member, guest, message, post, thread, group, channel, platform, or digital space where ArtsDAO reasonably considers it necessary to protect Members, guests, staff, privacy, safety, the community experience, the ArtsDAO brand, or the integrity of the community.

8.2 Closures and Restrictions

ArtsDAO may close, reserve, restrict, reconfigure, or limit access to all or part of the Premises or any Community Space at any time due to capacity, private events, maintenance, licensing requirements, safety, security, operational needs, or community considerations.

8.3 Event Rules

Specific events, trips, activations, experiences, or partner activities may be subject to additional rules, terms, waivers, eligibility requirements, cancellation policies, or third-party venue rules.

9. Dress Code and Presentation

Members and guests must dress and present themselves in a manner appropriate for a private members’ community and the relevant venue, event, or experience.

ArtsDAO may refuse entry or request a change in conduct or presentation where reasonably necessary to maintain venue standards, licensing requirements, safety, or the community experience.

10. Safety, Property, and Prohibited Items

ArtsDAO may review screenshots, messages, posts, recordings, witness reports, Member complaints, staff observations, admin observations, technical records, CCTV, access logs, and other available information when assessing potential breaches of these House Rules.

12.3 False or Bad-Faith Reports

False, malicious, retaliatory, bad-faith, or knowingly misleading reports may themselves constitute a breach of these House Rules.

12.4 No Retaliation
