These House Rules (“House Rules”) apply to all Members and guests while on the Premises and form an integral part of the ArtsDAO Membership Terms & Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Membership Terms.
ArtsDAO is a private members’ restaurant and clubhouse built on trust, discretion, and respect. These House Rules exist to protect the quality of the experience for all Members.
1.1 Access to the ArtsDAO Premises is strictly limited to Members and their permitted guests.
1.2 In accordance with UAE law, only individuals aged eighteen (18) years or older are permitted to enter the Premises. Minors are not permitted, including when accompanied by a parent, guardian, or Member.
1.3 ArtsDAO reserves the right to request valid identification at any time and to refuse entry where age or identity cannot be verified.
1.4 ArtsDAO reserves the right, at its discretion and without obligation to provide reasons, to refuse entry or request any person to leave the Premises in order to maintain safety, privacy, or community standards.
2.1 Members and guests must behave respectfully toward staff, other Members, and guests at all times.
2.2 Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behaviour, intoxication, disorderly conduct, or any behaviour that disrupts the experience of others will not be tolerated.
2.3 ArtsDAO operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive or disrespectful behaviour directed at staff.
2.4 Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests understand and comply with these House Rules.
3.1 Members may host up to five (5) guests per visit, subject to capacity and operational considerations.
3.2 The Member must be present at all times and may not leave guests unattended on the Premises.
3.3 Members are fully responsible for the conduct, compliance, and charges incurred by their guests.
3.4 ArtsDAO reserves the right to restrict guest access at peak times, during private events, or where guest usage is deemed excessive.
4.1 Priority reservations are offered to Members on a best-effort basis and are subject to availability.
4.2 Seating, entry, and access to events, curated experiences, and digital experiences are not guaranteed and are generally allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, unless ArtsDAO states otherwise for a specific event or benefit.
4.3 ArtsDAO may impose time limits, seating arrangements, or access restrictions during peak periods or special events.
5.1 ArtsDAO values discretion and privacy.
5.2 Photography, video recording, audio recording, or live streaming may be restricted or prohibited in certain areas or at certain times.
5.3 Recording other Members, guests, or staff without their prior consent is strictly prohibited.
5.4 ArtsDAO reserves the right to require deletion of any unauthorised content recorded on the Premises.
6.1 ArtsDAO maintains a refined clubhouse and dining atmosphere. We ask Members and guests to dress in a way that suits the setting.
6.2 Dress expectations may vary depending on the time of day, event format, or specific areas of the Premises, and ArtsDAO may communicate additional guidance where relevant.
6.3 To maintain the experience for all Members, ArtsDAO staff may provide dress-code guidance at the door and may decline entry where attire is not suitable for the setting.
7.1 Members and guests must comply with all applicable UAE laws and regulations while on the Premises.
7.2 Weapons, illegal substances, hazardous materials, or any items prohibited under UAE law are strictly forbidden.
7.3 ArtsDAO reserves the right to conduct reasonable security checks where required for safety.
8.1 Unauthorised commercial activity, solicitation, promotion, marketing, or distribution of materials on the Premises is prohibited without prior written approval from ArtsDAO.
8.2 ArtsDAO may remove any materials or request cessation of any activity that breaches this rule.
9.1 Members and guests must treat the Premises, furniture, artwork, and equipment with care.
9.2 Any damage caused by a Member or their guest must be reported immediately and may be charged to the Member.
9.3 ArtsDAO is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.
10.1 Alcohol service and consumption are subject to UAE licensing laws and ArtsDAO policies.
10.2 Smoking or vaping is permitted only in designated areas, in accordance with UAE law.
10.3 Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal and notification of authorities where required.
11.1 ArtsDAO may, at its discretion:
11.2 Serious or repeated breaches of these House Rules may result in immediate termination of Membership without refund, in accordance with the Membership Terms.
11.3 Enforcement decisions are made in the interests of the community as a whole.
12.1 ArtsDAO may amend these House Rules from time to time.
12.2 Updated House Rules will be published on the ArtsDAO website and take effect upon publication or as otherwise notified.
12.3 Continued use of the Premises constitutes acceptance of the updated House Rules.
